Though somewhat frightened at 'High School', they were determined that their activities should be long remembered. Next 'Hard-Working Sophs'! A name deservedly given them by the exhibit- ed skill in making the Sophomore Float, the best in the parade...they thought. Another highlight in this year was the assembly presentation, 'The Womanless Wadd ing' o The Junior year started with fifty-three members, eager to earn money for the traditional entertainment of the Seniors, Honors in Football and Basket- ball were won, with Howard Miller receiving the special honor of best all round athlete of W. H. S. The class play was the hilarious comedy, 'Don't Take My Penny'. The year was climaxed with an unforgettable Junior-Senior BQDQUQ t e Seniors of 'ABL Forth-tive members to graduate! Honors in football and basketball again were received.
