RICHARD KOSS 7l The Pre-Medical Society of Wagner College fills the need of the pre-professional students for infor- mation regarding acceptance in professional schools, and attempts to acquaint these students with the flavor of professional life. Medical films, a guest speaker or a student speaker will frequently be found on the agenda of a Society meeting. As the largest extra-curricular activity on the Hill, the meetings are looked forward to by a large percentage of Wagnerians. ln cooperation with the Faculty Committee on Professional Schools, the Society maintains the ability of Wagner to keep apace with the larger colleges in placing graduates in professional schools.

Pre-Seminarg Association The Pre-Seminary Association of Wagner Col- lege was organized to serve the ministerial students of all denominations in 'their educational, recrea- tional, and social needs. At the regular monthly meetings, topics of interest are presented by promi- nent speakers, followed by discussions. Some of the topics discussed during the past year were Youth Work in the Church, Pastoral Morality, The Mission Fields ofthe Church, Liturgics, and Miracles of the Bible. The Association sponsors a team in the intra- mural basketball league. The highlight of the year's activities is the annual farewell banquet in honor of the graduating members. y S Officers . f. . iii . . HERBElkT MESSNER vice Pifiesidents . . Not only does the society offer first hand experience in debate to those students who participate in the club activities, but, through forums on timely topics, it brings' the members into the organ- ization ,rooms of civic groups throughout Staten Island. During the academic year, discounting in- dividual college competitions, the society com- petes in five major intercollegiate tournaments, in which all the major universities and colleges in this area take part.
