Student Nurse Fellowship The Wagner College School of Nursing was first organized in 1943. Today, the four years of training are planned so that a student nurse may be able to participate in college activities, as well as gain her nursing experience. This field experience is ac- quired at Staten Island Hospital, Seaview Hospital and Creedmore State Hospital, The Wagner College Student Nurse Fellowship was founded in September, l95l, to establish unity among all nursing students, to aid in the prepara- tion for membership with professional organizations, and to acquaint the student with new opportunities ingthe field of nursing. The Student Nurse Fellowship offers a chance for students in all four classes, in various stages of training, to get together and to discuss mutual problems and interests. 2 Student Council The officers of the Student Association and the Councilmen representing the Senior, Junior, Sophomore 'and Freshman classes make up the Student Council. The Council super- vises all student activities except those assigned to the tive Boards set up under the College Council. The Councilmen are assigned to specific duties: as representatives of the Student Council on the Boards of Publications, Dramatics and Debate, Traditions, and Religious' Ac- tivities. The two student representatives ione man and one womanl on the Board of Athletic Control are non-voting members ot the Student Council. The members of the Student Coun- cil are the student members of the College Council. 66 ,i 4 I..
