I is ,xxxx il ,,,, 1' iii viii -gi - lledication The total enrollment has tripled. The assets have more than doubled. A new gymnasium and girls' dormitory, along with eighteen acres of property, have been added. Numerous accreditations, approvals, and authorizations have beentonferred by official groups on various phases of academic activity. Many important and necessary positions in the Administration have been created. And so on for many and many a line. All of the above statements, and many more, have been realized at Wagner during the six yealts and some odd months of Dr. Walter C. Langsam's presidency, which ended on January twenty-first of this year when he resigned to accept the presidency of Gettysburg College, Pennsylvania.. Since Novelrhber, l945, Dr. Langsam has been striving to advance Wagner in the three- so 1 fold vein of sizegeiquality, and scope. With ability, personality, and perseverance, he has suc- ceeded far past anyone's expectations. We of the l952 Kallista respectfully dedicate this book to Dr. Langsam as a memorial upon departure, knowing full well, however, that there is a far greater memorial extant about us. ltimay be found by following the advice of that oft-quoted phrase, Let's look at the record. i MRS.
