ment, and loyalty to Wagner and the traditions connected with it. This year, Theta Pi held its first annual dance at the Meurot Club. The sorority was proud to receive first prize in the Homecoming Day parade and to have one of its sisters crowned queen. The chapter staged several parties for the children at Sea View Hospital. Theta Pi also regularly sends clothing to the Frontier Nursing Service in Kentucky. The sorority is proud of the leadership and interest of the sisters toward College activities. Sisters of Alpha Omicron Pi are to be found in the highest echelons of student activity. WILMA FORSTER 104 Theta Pi Chapter of Alpha Omicron Pi was initiated into the national sorority on August 14, 1951. The initiation was followed by a formal dinner at the Richmond County Country Club. Alpha Omicron Pi, an international organi- zation since 1930, was founded in 1897 at Barnard College. A member of the National Panhellenic, Alpha Omicron Pi is affiliated with twenty other national sororities which comprise the Panhellenic group. Theta Pi Chapter strives for maintenance of sound Christian living, scholastic achieve-

It operates in an official capacity, supervising the well being of the societies and their relations to the College, and is governed by an appropriate constitution.
