Chemistr ooiet The object of this student afliliate chapter of the American Chemical Society is to offer to the students in Chemistry and its related fields the opportunity to secure information pertaining to the chemical industry and to afford the student the opportunity to further his knowledge in the Held of Chemistry. In its program the society has included lec- tures by guest speakers and students, films of interest to the Chemistry students, and Held trips. Internationa The purpose of the International Relations Club is to bring together those students inter- ested in the affairs of the day and Willing to participate in the study of international prob- lems. The club is affiliated with the Carnegie l Relations Endowment for International Peace, from which it receives books, periodicals, and news of inter- est to the organization. Field trips to local points of interest are taken, and last year, for example, the club visited Lake Success. Plans were made to extend activities even further this year. OFFICERS President . . . . atura cience ociety Wagneris Natural Science Society was formed to provide a fuller and more appreciative under- standing of the marvels and beauties of nature for the non-science student as Well as extending further fields of interest and study to the science major. Films and slides of interest to the club members are shown at meetings and talks by qualified guest speakers along with exhibits of projects of individual Work constitute part of the President . . The society also goes on Held trips to local seashore, wooded, and sparcely populated areas to study Wild life and natural phenomena in their normal surroundings. Guided tours of museums, zoos, planetariums and similar institutions are also conducted during the year.
