' Pre-Me ical ociety In 1948 a group of live men decided that an or- ganization for those students who intended to enter the medical profession was needed at VVagner. Today that small nucleus has grown into one of the largest and most active organizations on the Hill. In attempt- ing to live up to the aim- to further the educational, social and related activities of the Pre-Medical stu- dent --the organization this year has made tours of hospitals and other medical institutions, heard lectures by prominent guest speakers and viewed timely and topical films of interest to society members. The Pre- Meds have also embarked upon the athletic Held and have met with noteworthy success in intramural con- tests, especially in the animal battle with their arch rivals, the Pre-Sems. The achievements of the Wagner College Pre- Medical Society in all fields of endeavor compare favorably to the successes of similar groups with far greater memberships in some of the nationls largest universities.
