Delta Nu Frater- nity, in its effort to attain excel- lence in all phases of college life while at the same time stressing service to Wagner as one of its highest ideals, is perpetrating forever the memory of Roger Ling. Leaders in all the varied aspects of life on the Hill, academic, athletic, social, and civic, Delta Nu men still find time to activate the motive of Delta Nu for Wagner, emphasizing the ideal of service to the fullest extent for the greatest benefit of Wagner Col- lege. VVhile doing this the men of Delta Nu feel that they are carrying on in their own small way the high ideals for which Roger Ling gave his life- ideals never to be forgotten. The success of the year for Delta Nu was the winning of the first prize for the Homecoming Float Parade. Another important event of a more serious and stirring nature was the presentation of an oil portrait of Roger Ling to the fraternity by his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Ling. Continuing to grow in tradition, the youngest fraternity on the Hill devised a fraternity seal and motto, and a fraternity song, Not So Many Years Agon, was composed. Adding to the already organized Delta News , a monthly paper, and the year old Alumni Association, Delta Nu is striving to fulfill the epigram, Not the oldest-not the largest-just the bestv. Another development of importance to the fraternity was the affiliation with the Confederation of Local Fraternities of the East. This affiliation with other fraternal groups in colleges of the eastern area gave Delta Nu the opportunity to gain the advantages of a national fraternity while re- maining a distinct, independent organization. iigf 'nr Anofher Noffrhl Sweet Adelinefi 109

Rohr Twenty years old, Kappa Sig- ma Alpha Fraternity was organ- ized for the express purpose of promoting the loyalty of its brothers to XVagner College and of effecting a greater realization and attainment of their scholas- tic, cultural, and spiritual ideals. The underlying fraternal feeling is based on the desire to produce a closer relationship and a deeper consideration and understanding among the students at Wagner College. It is the cosmopolitan spirit which per- vades the activities of the fraternity at all times. Demonstrating its extra-curricular as well as scholastic interest, the fra- ternity presents three awards annually: the Kappa Sigma Alpha award in education, the Kappa Sigma Alpha award to the yearls most outstanding player on the VVagner College football team, and the Cordon Lathrop Scholastic Cup. The group annually sponsors a semi-formal dance, a Founder's Day banquet and May Day social. The fraternity dances, which feature con- tinuous music, are well known for their unusual and exotic decorative effect. NVith the reactivation of the Kappa Sigma Alpha Alumni Association and the subsequent coordination of the two groups, Kappa Sigma Alpha can this year look forward to greater and higher standards in achieving its goals.
