The continual fulfillment of the ideals of leadership, friendship, and loyalty to the Alma Mater has, from the very beginning of its existence, made the VVagner College chapter one ot the strongest and firmest links in the national chain of over seventy chapters at colleges and universities from coast to coast. One of the richest things that Alpha has to offer to its members is the deep bond of brotherhood made possible only by the inspired Working of the individual members as a group for the benefit of all phases of student life at the Alma Mater. Social events of the year included the seventh annual Free Fall Formal, the costume party, and the annual Spring Formal, held this year at the Molly Pitcher Hotel in Red Bank, N. J. , homecommg Hoax. Delta Nu Frater- nity, in its effort to attain excel- lence in all phases of college life while at the same time stressing service to Wagner as one of its highest ideals, is perpetrating forever the memory of Roger Ling. Leaders in all the varied aspects of life on the Hill, academic, athletic, social, and civic, Delta Nu men still find time to activate the motive of Delta Nu for Wagner, emphasizing the ideal of service to the fullest extent for the greatest benefit of Wagner Col- lege. VVhile doing this the men of Delta Nu feel that they are carrying on in their own small way the high ideals for which Roger Ling gave his life- ideals never to be forgotten. The success of the year for Delta Nu was the winning of the first prize for the Homecoming Float Parade. Another important event of a more serious and stirring nature was the presentation of an oil portrait of Roger Ling to the fraternity by his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Ling. Continuing to grow in tradition, the youngest fraternity on the Hill devised a fraternity seal and motto, and a fraternity song, Not So Many Years Agon, was composed. Adding to the already organized Delta News , a monthly paper, and the year old Alumni Association, Delta Nu is striving to fulfill the epigram, Not the oldest-not the largest-just the bestv. Another development of importance to the fraternity was the affiliation with the Confederation of Local Fraternities of the East. This affiliation with other fraternal groups in colleges of the eastern area gave Delta Nu the opportunity to gain the advantages of a national fraternity while re- maining a distinct, independent organization. iigf 'nr Anofher Noffrhl Sweet Adelinefi 109
