cue 1 ' Tau Lambda Chi, the first Sorority recognized on the Hill was formed in May, l94l, drawing together girls of similar interests to cooperate in promoting scholarship and fellowship. The purposes of the sorority are to stimulate cul- tural development, to perpetuate friendships and a live interest in the advancement and activities of Wagner College. Tau now has 34 members who are active as a group in college life and also as individuals in the various phases of the entire school program. Pei' Since the organization of Theta Pi Epsilon in December, l94l, the sorority's participation in various activities, within and outside the school, has greatly increased. The three basic ideals upon which Theta was founded are the maintenance of sound Christian living, high scholastic achievement, and loyalty to the college and her traditions. The sorority is very proud of her members' active interest and leadership in various clubs, the student organizations, sports, and religious activities. Highlights in the past year included the successful Chinese dance, Singapore Fling , the presentation of the annual Business Administration Award, the campaign for Christmas gifts for children at Seaview Hospital, rush socials and other parties.
