pw-S ' ORGANIZED to help serve the spiritual, social, educa- tional and problematic needs of the pre-ministerial students of all denominations at Wagner, the Pre- Seminary Association has held regular monthly meetings, usually with a speaker followed by a discussion. These have included discussions on evangelism, aspects and fields of Christian ministry, the High Church versus the Low Church controversy, and doctrinal differences among the various branches of the Lutheran Church. The year's activities will be culminated in a farewell dinner, in honor of the graduating seniors, to which it is customary to invite the ordained members of the faculty. Officers President . . . . Aw, IN l93'5 forty young people formed a new organization at Wagner College, the Wagner A Capella Choir. Today the choir has doubled in number, but it has grown more than numerically. Always an active, prominent group, the Wagner College Choir today enjoys a new fame and a broader-than-ever basis of experience. Under its director, Professor John L. Bainbridge, the choir has been heard in numerous, well-received con- certs. Recent tours have taken the choir to upper New York state, Connecticut and Pennsylvania. There are in all choir members the lasting memories of cocoa and cookies at parishioners' homes, sight-seeing tours of Niagara Falls, ancl the enduring gas fumes of Ye Campus Coach . With a repertoire of sacred and secular music, the choir has won the hearts of its listeners on many oc- casions. Whether serious or gay, the students till the music with their own freshness and enthusiasm which will enhance and re-echo in the years to come. 70

pw-Meclicd THE Pre-Medical Society was organized in April, l948. With Dr, Davidheiser at its head, the Society has made rapid strides during the short time it has been organized. At the beginning of this year, the club resumed its policy of giving service to the College, to the pre-medical students, and to the profession which these students have chosen to follow. lt is another aim ofthe Society to bring to the pre-meds accurate knowledge of the current situa- tion in the country's medical schools in regard to require- ments, curricula, rating, etc. The Society's activities, such as lectures, tours, movies, etc., were all planned with an eye to helping the pre-med students on deciding what field of medicine they will enter after they have finished their courses at Wagner.
