Aw, IN l93'5 forty young people formed a new organization at Wagner College, the Wagner A Capella Choir. Today the choir has doubled in number, but it has grown more than numerically. Always an active, prominent group, the Wagner College Choir today enjoys a new fame and a broader-than-ever basis of experience. Under its director, Professor John L. Bainbridge, the choir has been heard in numerous, well-received con- certs. Recent tours have taken the choir to upper New York state, Connecticut and Pennsylvania. There are in all choir members the lasting memories of cocoa and cookies at parishioners' homes, sight-seeing tours of Niagara Falls, ancl the enduring gas fumes of Ye Campus Coach . With a repertoire of sacred and secular music, the choir has won the hearts of its listeners on many oc- casions. Whether serious or gay, the students till the music with their own freshness and enthusiasm which will enhance and re-echo in the years to come. 70
