Kim McCombs was the only girl from Wadsworth to participate in the cross-country state competition. Enjoying a successful season, the soccer team advanced in the tournaments and won the sectional title. Top Left: This outstanding business teacher at Wads- worth. NRM Spirits In Even though talent may be abundant, no team keeps rising without the support of its fans. The students at Wadsworth High School seldom fail in this respect. The cheerleaders make a great effort in leading the fans to cheer their teams on to victory. Not only, though, do the students show their spirit in just sports and competitions but also in giving to their fellow human beings Above: For spirit day the cheerleaders asked the teachers to wear pajamas, and Mrs. Schaffter got into the spirit by showing up in this costume. The Air who aren't so richly blessed with food and things. This year at Thanksgiving over LH cans of food were given by the students to needy families in Wadsworth. At Christmas several clubs went caroling and again gave food to those who didn't have as much as others. Spirits of the warmest kind abound at WHS.
