This being our first attempt at track since l948, we feel sure that with more experience the team will make everyone proud of them. C , u Cary West strains his muscles and exerts the last of his energy as he crosses the finish line far ahead of his opponents.

They not only walloped most of their regular-season rivals, but went on to win the sectional, district, and regional championships. They then traveled to Columbus where they placed third in the state finals. They, indeed, have proved that lots of practice and teamwork bring the best results.
