ophomore lass Presldent Elton Longnecker Vxce President Evelyn Nrcodemus Secretary Dale Leatherman Class Advisor Mr Hunsberger The socral events of the class were successful to a great extent During the first semester the class held a Hallowe en party and a Wiener roast The class held a very successful all hugh school dance during the last half year As for sports the boys took an active part m the schools vrctorles thrs season Besldes the many sophomores on the Reserve squad two boys broke into the Varslty one as a regular Three of our classmen entered the Reserve clrcle as very valuable men durmg the past basketball season The grunts of the wrestlers were increased by two of our sophomores who dad much to help Many of the members of the school s various clubs were supplned by active sophomores The Torch Club rs a club of sophomores havmg a mem bershlp of about one half of the number of sophomore boys Other members have jomed the Art Club G A A F F A Dramatxc Club Photo Club and others The sophomore class has had an active year with only one unhappy mcl dent on xts record but this wlll only help our classmates to know the nght thmg to do ln the future Tom Bates 6 I - 'Z I in their class' favor. 2
