Because, as she would say, l'm iusl in 7A, and lhe 7A's musl wail 'lill lasl. She was quile a big girl for her lwelve years, and had a nervous habil ol lwisling her shorl hair whenever she was impalienlly awailing somelhing. P'sssl! Hey Joan, she wispered, nudging lhe moody girl who sal ahead ol her. Whal kind ol poison d'ya lhink we're havin l'day? Oh I don'l know she replied. Bul I sure hope lhey have enough ol everylhing lo go around: sure made me mad yesl'day when lhey look back one ol lhe lwo oranges lhey said we could have. Order please! demanded lhe leacher in charge. Oh me, brealhed Miriam. The 7A's! One single line please.
