Happy-Go-Lucky Jennie Bet Tarlton, Margaret Kelly, Freddy Kendall, and Tommy Martin were “foot loose and fancy free.” XN Dependable Betsy Kiker, Marietta Ward, and Risden Hill could always be counted upon to do their best. KEYHOLDERS Those who possess certain intangible keys possess the mystic powers of opening doors to new activities, per- sonalities, opportunities, and even destinies. Though every member of the senior class did not have everyone of these keys, each did have at least one. A perfect key- -holder would be... Witty Katie Robeson, Martha Deese, Brantley Teal, and Jerry Lovett played the role of court jesters quite well. Pleasing Personality Hazel Horne, Peggy Polson, and Charles Hildreth were “happy as larks’”’ and made everyone else feel that way. Original Diana Jenkins, Charles Tucker, .and Larry Rogers had frequent brainstorms which developed into shocking ideas 23
