WADESBORO HIGH SCHOOL CLASS OF 1944 CLASS POEM It is only a milestone that we now reach, In our pursuit of knowledge and success A milestone which marks the honors we've gained Through our effort in W. H. S. It has been a long and happy pace, And now that the end is near, We hate to leave, but we know that we must, For our struggle just begins with this year. We have proven that we have the ability, And if we work, things will wind our way, Our goal will be reached if we take sincere effort, In the tasks undertaken each day. T. D.
