Cagers end with 10-12 mark The Wade Hampton Generals closed outthe 1976 season with an overall record of 10wins and 12 losses. This was the first time in 7 years that the Varsity Cagers failed to better the .500 mark. Despite the Generals' non-traditional losing season, the Cagers displayed the enthusiasm, desire, and sportsmanship which is synonymous with all General Bas- ketball teamsbof the past. The '76 Generals were one of the youngest ever directed by head coach lohn Ross. The Cagers returned only three lettermen from last year's team.
