Historic Charleston Intrigues the Newcomers of Upper School The seventh graders were enlightened by many new experiences of Upper School life. For the first time they were eligible to participate in such activities as Junior Student Council, junior varsity sports, cheerleading, and Pep Club. Excite- ment for the seventh graders was their trip to Charleston in the fall. They visited Fort Moultrie and took the walking tour of Church Street. The seventh graders adjusted well to Upper School life, and their first year of Upper School had a special meaning to them. 1.
