Team Produces Commendable Record The varsity football team worked hard to produce a com- mendable 9T record. The tough afternoon practices consisted of learning many plays, performing various drills, running sprints, and scrimmaging among themselves. Using the dummies” improved Rebel blocking. Experience proved important as many returning veterans displayed great skills. The hard work and determination kept the Rebels on top of most games. Competition Because the race was long and tough, determination was essen- tial. Butterflies symbolizing nerv- ousness indicated that one’s best endeavor was necessary. A co- operative spirit welded individuals into a team that struggled for a common goal — victory. Satisfaction was gained when one completed a task to the best of his ability while representing and serving his school valiantly. 157
