Waco High Students Sz Exes Celebrate Homecoming Homecoming is an exciting event which highlights each fall quarter. It is filled with various traditional ac- tivites. These activities are the exes tea, bonfire, Homecoming presenta- tion of candidates which made top ten, Pep rally, and of course the big game followed by the annual Homecoming dance. Nominations for Queen and un- derclassmen Princess were made through the Sr., Jr., and Soph. homerooms. There were ten semifinalists and then five finalists. The exes tea began promptly at 2:00 p.m. on Homecoming afternoon. Thanks to the efficient Student Government, cookies and punch were provided at the exes tea. Finally the time came that everyone had anticipated. The big game with the Connally Cadets. There was a large crowd of exes as well as stu- dent body members. You could feel the excitement every where. Halftime was truly the climax! The 1976 Homecoming Queen is...Miss Sheryl Stockton, runner up Miss Audrey Scott, Junior Princess Miss Denise Oliverio, and Sophomore Princess Miss Dana Adams. Full of spirit, the Waco High Tiger team defeated the Cadets. After the game the Tigers and their fans celebrated their victory at the gym. Homecoming '76 was a great success. ZS !!
