Pep Rallies and Assemblies Liven Up School Days Assemblies are one of the main fac- tors contributing to the unity of the student body. Students and teachers were enthusiastic at our assemblies which included pep rallies, the Be-Bop program, the Rick Presley show, and several programs of a religious nature. PTA Activities Support aco High Activities at Waco High involve students, teachers and also parents. PTA is an active group supporting Waco High in several ways. They work all year raising money for scholarships to be given to Waco High seniors. The first program was an open house in September featuring coffee in the library and a chance to meet the Waco High Faculty. Mr. Kieth Geisler of McLennan Community College spoke at their second program in October. He informed parents and students about early admission to college for high school Seniors. In December PTA spon- sored a Christmas Concert featuring the Tiger Band and Choir. Ninth graders and parents attended a special orientation in March with Waco High PTA and faculty. Officers for the 76-77 year were President Mrs. Martha Roscherg First Vice-President Mrs. Shirley Burroughsg Second Vice-President Mrs. W.
