Vic Anderson, President, lVIr. Champe Fitzhugh, Jr, Dr. Tom Husbands, Dean Abner McCall, Dr. Tom Olivers M1'. Peelel' Williziilis, 11:5 and lVI1'. W. E. Darden. lVIr. A. R. Downing, Superintendent of Schools, is the executive officer of the Board of Education and is responsible for administering the school program under policies set by the Board of Trustees. J. E. Crews, Business Nlanager of the school district, serves as Secretary of the Board. Since only a year ago, many changes and improvements have been made by the Board. At the present time a bond issue of six and one-half million dollars is planned to build a senior high, a junior high, and an elementary school, and to provide for the addition of twenty new classrooms to buildings now in use. The students of Wac-0 High School give a vote of thanks to these untiring men who have devoted much time and energy to the development of our public school system.
