Sorry Erin don kiss public The date was May ninth, 1987. The place- the Worcester Marriott. This was the night numerous couples were waiting for. This was the evening of the Class of I988’s junior prom, with the theme, Lean on Me”. The elegantly decorated burgundy and siver ballroom was ready. As 7:00 rolled around, so did the stretch limos, Rolles Royces’, and other classy automobiles, one of which was a vintage red, convertible Mustang driven by Mike Latino. After a late dinner, the prom band Motion got the ball rolling with their up-beat dance music. Soon, the small dance floor was packed with laughing, hyper juniors. Some chose to sit and be their audi ence. Being a beautiful, clear, and warm night, many congregated outside on the patio by the pool. The entertainment out there were two daring girls who were so hot decided, What the heck,” and took a quick dip into the refreshing pool with their gowns on. Above: Barbara and Greg, love makes us smile pretty. Below: Dad slipped me an extra twenty. Following a night of fun, laughs, and dancing, the majority left for their post-prom activities at around midnight. Others, who just could not seem to stop their dancing feet, held on for a while longer, leaving this once sparkling, but memorable hotel in dissarray. 28 Student Life
