PRINCIPAL’S OFFICE Dear Members of the Class of 1982, I consider it a privilege to be able to speak to graduating classes through their yearbook. It gives me a chance at a final goodbye and an opportunity to wish each and every one of you much happiness and success in the years that lie ahead. I hope that your high school years have been productive ones; that you will look back on them with fond memories and with a satisfaction that comes from knowing that they were im¬ portant years in your development as a young adult. We, who have traveled this road with you, look forward to hearing of your future successes, of your emergence as contributing members of our communities, as family members and as con¬ querors of the goals you set for yourselves. These last four years have been full ones for all of you. High school years mix happiness and sadness, good times and bad, failure and success with sometimes bewildering speed. Remember the good times, learn from the bad times and always remember that in this life we can not do it alone. Give credit to those who have helped you along the way — your parents, friends and teachers — and determine to return the kindnesses you have received from others to those you meet along the way. Finally, it is my hope that this yearbook might rekindle warm memories of your years at Wachusett as you take it down from the shelf from time to time.
