PATRICIA ANN MURRAY As merry as the day is long. The old saying, Good things come in small packages, certainly applies to Pat. She ' s ambitious, reliable, unselfish, and a loyal friend. With her marvelous flair for writing we know she will succe ed in journalism. SANDRA LEE NISI A jewel is small, but very precious. Sandy is petite, sweet, and studious. She possesses a grand smile, lots of vim, and a soft, friendly voice. During her Senior year, she was captain of the cheerleaders. Her quiet appear¬ ance and feminine ways will win her many friends at Becker Junior College. JEAN EDLA NORDQUIST The twinkle in her eye, the sparkle in her smile—a winning combination. Nicknames usually don ' t mean a thing, but Jean ' s suits her to a T . Buttons is the type of person who is a friend to everyone. Smiling is an art that seems to come easy to her. She always seems to have a warm smile to greet you. Buttons wants to go into nursing, and we all wish her the best of luck. SANDRA LEE NORQUIST For she was the quiet kind whose nature never varies. It is part of Sandy ' s nature to be quiet and undemonstrative. She is rarely the first to speak on a subject but comes up with the right answer at the right time. Sandy loves to dance which is easily detected by a look at her flashy dance steps. She ' s sure to excel in anything she attempts throughout the years. Future Homemakers of America 4; Monitor 4; Senior Play 4. PHYLLIS ANN NORTHRUP Because to laugh is proper to me. Sweet, fun-loving, and hospitable is Phil. Always ready to lend a helping hand to anyone, and always ready to laugh, she is a person well worth knowing. Success will surely find her. Future Homemakers of America 4 (Treasurer 4); Senior Play Committee 4. CAROL MARIE NORTON A bit of devilment lies beneath her mild exterior. You first receive the impression that Carol is a quiet, suave, and efficient business woman-to-be. This is a perfectly true analysis with but one exception. When Carol is with Judy, they lose themselves in animated conversation about such things as the stock market and fishing , as best friends do. JAY ERNEST NYSTROM I prefer silent prudence to loquacious folly. Jay is a quiet and easy-going classmate. He likes hunting and enjoys competitive swimming. Plans for the future include agricultural college in the hopes that he ' ll some day own his own farm. Future Farmers of America 1, 2, 3, 4. DIANE MARIE O ' BRIEN With eyes like stars. Diane, with her shining blue eyes, is always a welcome sight at any time of the day. Her polite manner and pleasing voice have won her many friends since she came to us in her sophomore year. Diane plans to enter the world of clerical work after graduating. We are sure that she will win her employer ' s favor as much as she has won ours. ROBERT EARL MARSH We grant, although he had much wit, he was very shy of using it. Bobby is another quiet member of our class whom we all know by his smile and friendly ways. A sharp dresser with a polite manner, he likes to hunt deer and not always on his free time. Intramural Club 1, 2, 3, 4. MARY ANNE MARTELLI With so much pep this girl so fair has given teachers many a grey hair. Everyone knows Mary. She has been one of the more devilish stars in our little firmament. Her jovial manner and resounding voice have carried her happily through the past four years. We are sure they will continue to do so long after she leaves. DOROTHY ELIZABETH MAYO The joy of youth and health her eyes displayed, the ease of heart her every look conveyed. Vivacious, intelligent, athletic—that ' s our Dottie! A loyal and understanding friend to everyone, she has won a place in the hearts of all. Her enthusiastic cheerleading has been a boon to our school spirit. EDWARD G. MIGDELANY JR. What care I when I can rest, kill time, and take life at its best? There goes Teddy in his prize possess ' on, his car. Much of his time is spent on it. WESTON PAUL MILLER He makes hay while the sun shines. Wes will be remembered by his pleasant smile and impish ways. Though quiet at times, he ' s quite the boy with girls. He ' s a hard worker at farming and we know he ' ll succeed in whatever profession he decides upon. MILES MOONEY JR. Good at work, better at play, willing to talk with girls all day. Bill, cute and quiet, is always ready to help. His warm, friendly smile and quick hello would brighten any day. With his sense of humor and his love of a good time. Where there ' s music and art, there is Sandy. It ' s her favorite pastime. She has added a lot to the school through dramatics, art work, and her willingness to help on many committees. One may usually find Judy with Carol Norton discussing current events as many inseparable friends commonly do. Judy also has been gifted with the art of animation and has never been at a loss for words. She possesses quick wit, persistent vitality, and noteworthy ambitions. Beryl ' s mischievous and fun-loving ways make her well-known. Her winning personality and her ability to get along with everyone make her well-liked. Her dramatic ability in our Senior Play will not be forgotten. Always looking on the sunnv side of things, Lo has lots of school spirit which she displayed as a majorette. Her ability to get along with everyone will make her a success in college. With these fine qualities, Gail is certain to be an outstanding teacher.
