GAIL ANN McGUIRE A heart full of cheer makes a face full of sunshine. Although Gail is small, she has a heart that is large and overflowing with friendliness. NANCY ELEN MAENPAA It ' s a friendly heart that has plenty of friends. Nan, whom we remember as Queen of the Junior Prom, will gain many lasting friends wherever she goes. She is one of the best-liked and best-known girls in our class. With her enduring smile and pleasing personality, her future holds great promise. JUDITH ARLENE MAIN Keep your face always toward the sunshine and the shadows will fall behind you. Judy ' s sunny personality and affable ways are easily recognized and loved by all. Her graciousness and courtesy reflect her high ideals. Her readiness to offer suggestions and to lend a helping hand are assets to any group. Hear that squeaky clarinet? That ' s Marilyn, a loyal and talented band member. Hard working, with a winning smile, Marilyn is truly a worthwhile friend. CAROL ELAINE MAJEWSKI A capable athlete with a friendly smile, known especially for her witty style. Carol, an outstanding athlete with a terrific personality, is a nice person to have around. Her keen imagination and good sense of humor are enjoyed by all. Her favorite pastime is arguing with teachers and talking about Stanley. A popular girl and a natural leader, Carol will surely be as successful in college as she was here. CLIFFORD MAKI Demure and quiet is he at school, but what is he away from the rule? Cliffy is a sports enthusiast and has always supported our school teams. He has a very friendly smile and is an eager listener. We wish him the best of luck in the future. Football 4. EDWARD MANLEY School? I guess it is a necessary evil. Wham! There goes that baseball again, and there ' s Eddie in the outfield ready to catch it. His outstanding ability in baseball has made him an asset to our team. Baseball 2. 3, 4. JON MARDEN You come late, yet you come. Jon came to us this year after deciding to complete his high school education. Thus for he is undecided as to what he will do after graduating, but it is certain that his flashing personality will acclaim in whatever he chooses. 25

ROGER GUSTAF LINDFORS What would you do on the day of punishment? During our junior and sen ; or years, Gus has contributed outstandingly to our football team. His sense of humor and his happy-go-lucky manner make him well known. He ' s the life of the party, especially our Senior Party. Future plans? U. S. Air Force and the Massachusetts State Police Force. Basketball 2, 3, 4; Football 1, 2, 3, 4 (Co-Captain 4); Intramural Club 2, 3, 4; Varsity Club 3, 4. JOHN BRADLEY LINDQUIST By the work one knows the workman. John is a non-conformist with his Presley-type haircut, but a good student as evidenced by his consistency to make the honor roll. He is a fine math and science student which will surely help him in the future. Gym Leader Corps 2, 3; Honor Roll 1, 3, 4. JANICE EDITH LUNDIN Her red hair is but a crown of glory. Underneath that sparkling, red hair you ' ll find Jan. She is good-natured, thoughtful, and a friend to all. She always has a kind word for everyone. With her ability and delightful manner, we know she ' ll make an excellent secretary. NANCY LYMAN Here ' s a maiden without pretense, blessed with reason and common sense. Nan is always ready for fun and interested in many sports. She has been a great helD to the hockey team for the past two years as manager. Her winning smile and amiability will be important assets in her chosen career, elementary teaching. DAVID PAUL LANTZ Never in a hurry, never has a care. Dave ' s reserved and unassuming manner should help him in his aspiration to become a minister. Dave shows considerable skill in h ' s two loves—guns and hot rods. He customized his own car which possibly could lead to another vocation. Glee Club 1. JOYCE EVELYN LARSON Nothing was ever achieved without enthusiasm. Joyce has an innate athletic ability which she displays both on the hockey field and basketball court. Her loveliest asset is her strawberry blonde hair. On Joyce the blush is beautiful but embarrassing—she turns the brightest red! A collegiate dresser with many friends, Joyce will undoubtedly succeed in the field of physical education. ROBERT EARL MARSH We grant, although he had much wit, he was very shy of using it. Bobby is another quiet member of our class whom we all know by his smile and friendly ways. A sharp dresser with a polite manner, he likes to hunt deer and not always on his free time. Intramural Club 1, 2, 3, 4. MARY ANNE MARTELLI With so much pep this girl so fair has given teachers many a grey hair. Everyone knows Mary. She has been one of the more devilish stars in our little firmament. Her jovial manner and resounding voice have carried her happily through the past four years. We are sure they will continue to do so long after she leaves. DOROTHY ELIZABETH MAYO The joy of youth and health her eyes displayed, the ease of heart her every look conveyed. Vivacious, intelligent, athletic—that ' s our Dottie! A loyal and understanding friend to everyone, she has won a place in the hearts of all. Her enthusiastic cheerleading has been a boon to our school spirit. WESTON PAUL MILLER He makes hay while the sun shines. Wes will be remembered by his pleasant smile and impish ways. Though quiet at times, he ' s quite the boy with girls. He ' s a hard worker at farming and we know he ' ll succeed in whatever profession he decides upon. MILES MOONEY JR. Good at work, better at play, willing to talk with girls all day. Bill, cute and quiet, is always ready to help. His warm, friendly smile and quick hello would brighten any day. With his sense of humor and his love of a good time. Bill is able to join the fun of any group. His affectionate ways will help him to succeed in anything he attempts. Football Concession Stand 4. SANDRA ANNE MOREY So quiet and yet so full of life. Where there ' s music and art, there is Sandy. It ' s her favorite pastime. She has added a lot to the school through dramatics, art work, and her willingness to help on many committees. She also has the ambition to be a teacher and we wish her the best of luck.
