PETER DAVIS Dimples in his chin, devil within. Pete is that good-looking fellow who seems rather shy, but he can be full of mischief when he is in the mood. ROBERT ALVIN DAVIS Sighed and looked, and sighed again. Who ' s that cute redhead? That ' s our boy. Bob. His quiet wit and lively personality nave mad e him well liked. We know that in the Marine Corps, college, and whatever profession he decides upon his personality and willingness to help will be two of his greatest assets. JUDITH ANN DESROSIERS Laugh and the world laughs with you. A giggle resounding through the hall and everyone knows Judy ' s around. With her sense of humor and good nature, she has cheered many of us in the past four years. She has a keen interest in horses and is quite an artist. Her weakness, missing school busses; her excuse, forgetting her lunch. Pep Squad 2; Senior Play 4; Yearbook Staff 4. ROBERT PAUL DONAHUE He may not convince you, but he argues on. Musical, full of fun. Bob is one of our Senior comedians. None of us will forget the excellent job he has done as band leader. He plans to enter college next fall and major in business administration. A diligent worker, his future will certainly be bright. BERNARD DOUGLAS All musical people seem to be happy. There ' s Bernie, tapping the floor with his shining slippers. Everyone knows Bernie for his ability to dance. Along with his happy-go-lucky ways, Bernie will be remembered for his many performances on the stage. Always going around with a friendly word, he will be greatly missed next year. Band 2, 3, 4; Chorus 2, 4; Glee Club 3, 4; Intramural Club 1, 2, 3, 4. LESLIE ALAN DOWNER Worry and I have never met. Les likes sports, particularly hunting. Besides his activity on the track team, he enjoys eating, but keeps his figure. We all wish for him good fortune as a future farmer. Future Farmers of America 2, 3, 4; Library Club 3; Track 3, 4. SANDRA JUNE ERICKSON A maiden friendly and self-possessed, attractive, poised and trimly dressed. Quiet, usually, she is a true friend. Her warm personality and winning smile will see her easily over life ' s long road. Future Homemakers of America 4; Library Club 2; Majorettes 4; Pep Squad 2. PATRICIA ANN FISKE Music in her heart and mischief in her eye. Although Pat appears quiet on the surfoce, her gaiety and amiability are familiar to those who know her well. Her sweet smile and bubbling personality are loved by all. Pat ' s future includes plans for a secretarial career and she is sure to achieve her goal. RICHARD COOPER Silence is golden. Skeezix is a quiet but industrious student. His ability to tinker with cars should help him in his plans to attend a technical school. MAUREEN GAIL COVE A jolly girl, a live-wire, the kind of which you never tire. Reeney is gay, exciting, enthusiastic, and always has ideas for good times. Her cheerful personality has won her many friends. She ' ll have her patients in two kinds of stitches when she follows through her plans for a nursing career. Homeroom Representative 2; Intramural Club 2, 3, 4 (President 4); Junior Prom Committee 3; Latin Club 2; Majorettes 3, 4; Senior Play 4; Spanish Club 3, 4 (Treasurer 3, 4). DIANN COYLE To know her is a lasting treat. Diann has not been here for long, but everyone knows her. Her ability to make friends has made her one of the most popular seniors. We all know what an excellent cheerleader she is. Diann hopes to go to William and Mary, and major in math. If her success here in such a short time is any example of her ability, we ' re sure she will be an outstanding student. PEARL ELSIE CRAWFORD In quietness lies hidden friendship. Although Pearl isn ' t one to always talk, she doesn ' t overlook the fact that friends are an asset. She is a lasting friend with a personality to fit her mme. Pearl enjoys collecting popular records. Her plans for the future are to become a secretary. JUDITH JOY CROSBY The happiness of the heart causeth a fair color in the face. Small, blonde, fun-loving—these words describe Blondie. Everyone knows her because wherever she goes she leaves her mark. Her pleasing smile and light, airy conversation, combined with her magnetic personality will assure her great success as a dental assistant. Intramural Club 2, 3, 4; Monitor 4. WILLIAM JAMES CUNNINGHAM A good player unequalled, a sportsman complete; a good one to follow, a hard one to beat. The name Jim Cunningham is familiar to everyone, for Jim is a natural leader. For two consecutive years his classmates have shown their approval of his methods by electing him president of the class. In the fall Jim can always be found on the football field with the team. In the field of track, Jimmy became interested in the discus throw, and he soon developed the form and ability of a mature athlete. RICHARD EARL DALTON No one knows what he can do till he tries. Digger is one of our many classmates who entered Wachusett after its initial year, but he has the distinction of coming from Alabama. Quiet and unassuming, a smile and a word of greeting will invariably be returned by his shy, friendly smile. Success at the General Electric Apprentice Course is assured him, for loyalty and perseverance are most welcome traits. Dick ' s an unassuming fellow, but a hard working, loyal friend when you get to know him. He favors the field of aviation whether it be planes in model or actual size.

PAUL JOSEPH FLANAGAN He ' s a regular guy, why say more? Paul is one of the Sterlingites. Sin-ere, yet fun-loving, he has won ccntless friends from all the towns. There ore many fine qualities beneath that lovely blush. Hard work and love for sports round him out to be one swell person. Basketball 2, 3, 4; French Club 4; Intramural Basketball 3, 4; Intramural Club 2, 3, 4; Intramural Football 1; Romanum Forum 2. DAVID ERIC FUNK Good nature brings many friends. Dave is another of ' 58 ' s blushers. Just one word is enorgh to turn him scarlet. A friend to many, especially the girls, he ' s known for his cheerful ways. We are sure his lightheartedness will safely take him through a career in the service. Intramural Club 2, 3, 4. DIANNE ELIZABETH FORRESTER She seems quiet, but you ' d be surprised. An enigmatic, thoughtful look may mislead you to believe that Dianne is the quiet type. But wait a minute and she ' s bright, cheery, and energetic again. With a mischievous gleam in her eye and match-making for a hobby, she is sure to succeed in life. JUDITH EVELYN GIBSON Dancing eyes and dancing feet, a combination that ' s hard to beat. One can often hear Gibbie ' s giggles resounding through the halls of Wachusett. Her sunny disposition brightens up the dullest days. She is short and sweet and cute and neat—always has something to talk about. We all know Judy ' s future students will be lucky to have a teacher like her. ROBERT HENRY GORETTI A joke, a laugh, and a sincere heart. If you walk into a class that is in hysterics, chances are you ' ll find Bob in the midst of it. He ' s made many a dull class bright again with one of his witty remarks, or insistent arguments. We all hope his professors at Tech take it as well as Wachusett ' s teachers have. ALAN MONROE GORMLY To live long, it is necessary to live slowly. This happy-go-lucky fellow is well known to all of us. His quick smile and pleasant personality are a familiar sight. With college in his future, we wish him the best of luck. Monitor 4; Yearbook Staff 4. KATHLEEN GOWELL It is a friendly heart that has many friends. Kathie is known for her cordiality to everyone. Jovial, fun-loving, generous, and warm¬ hearted, she is an example of the well-integrated personality. She has a lovely singing voice and we know she will succeed in a business career and in reaching her ultimate goal, radio. With her readiness to help out at all times, her future as a teacher is insured.
