Her willingness to help others and to do well whatever she undertakes assures us that she will be a success in her secretarial career. “When I do vow a friendship. Attractive , friendly and witty characterize “Jan” to a T. She has the knack of getting along with others and is always around when needed. “Jan’’ is tops in the commercial field and has a job with a law firm waiting after graduation. “I like work; it fascinates me. Although he is the shy type when girls are around, “Howie” is well-known among the boys. The jovial twinkle in his eyes indicates the deviltry he possesses. Even with her retiring manner she is extremely helpful when needed. She enjoys bowling and swimming, but her favorite pastime is dancing. At times we wonder if “Howie” can always be as quiet as he appears. We doubt it. His interest in outdoor activities may lead to a future in that field. “Her disposition is blithe and merry.” Holden High School. Always ready with some witty words and a sweet smile — that’s “Ruthie”; or. if one needs some help, she ' s ready to assist in any way possible. Her efficiency and effortless learning have reaped their harvest. Charles is a happy-go-lucky member of the class, whose favorite pastime is cheering people up with his vast store of jokes. His witty answers in class have never failed to give us a laugh.
