Marilyn the vivacious, the radiant, the colorful, always h as a cheery greeting for everyone. She is so constantly enthusi- astic and has such a keen sense of humor that she injects life into the most dejected of spirits. She will make an ideal medical secretary. “A merry heart makes a cheerful countenance.” Rutland High School. Good Government Candidate 1, 2; Glee Club 1, 2, 3; Cheerleader 1, 2, 3 (Captain 3); Student Council 1, 2, 3 (Reporter 3); Red Cross Representative 2: Christmas Play 3; Junior Prom Committee 3; Senior Play 4. Where there’s fun and frolic, there ' s “Prudy.” She is one of those fun-loving people who add life to any party. “Prudy” is not a bit shy about making known the whys and wherefores of her ideas. Her plans for the future are as yet uncertain. “The days that make us happy make us wise.” Holden High School. Basketball Manager 1; Band 1, 2, 3; Orchestra 1, 2, 3; Chorus 2. Who’s that bombing by in the gray Chevy? None other than ' “Ron ' 5 — “Ron” of the friendly smile and cheery “Hello.” He is interested in things mechanical and may further his education in this field. “You are the very spirit of a lady.” Rutland High School. We know that Nadine will reach her goal, for she has ability and determination. Her pleasant disposition and courteous manners make friends for her wherever she goes. Glee Club 1; Ring Committee 4. Carol has a pleasant manner and is always ready to make a new friend. One can count on her being around when help is needed. She will be a welcome addition to cheer up any office. “A light heart lives long.” North High School (Worcester), Major Edwards High School. Field Hockey 1; Basketball 1, 2, 3; Chorus 1, 2, 3; Softball 2, 3; Junior Play 3. Take a sunny smile, mischievous eyes, enthusiasm for fun, plus sk ill in sports and you have a perfect description of “Jackie.” Not only does she participate in school athletics but she ioves to skate and bowl and is a fine swimmer. Energy such as hers is bound to bring success.

We’re sure “Dave” will have no trouble in whatever field he may enter. “Skillful in each manly sport.” Major Edwards High School. Baseball 1, 2, 3; Basketball 2, 3, 4; Class Vice-President 2; Junior Prom Committee 3; School Paper 3. He has blond hair, mischievous blue eyes, and a handsome physique. In addition to these assets he is an athlete supreme. His accomplishments on the basketball floor have made us all sit up and take notice. “Ronnie” is also an indispensable merrymaker at parties — always ready with the latest joke. “Whatever she does is done with ease.” Holden High School. Honor Roll 1, 2, 3; Dramatics 4; Typist for Coach 4. Every class should include some people like “Jo” — reliable, persistent, always to be counted on. Barbara never fails to get things done and to get them done well. Who’s that bobbing around the halls with that infectious laugh? None other than our “Myrn.” She has brightened many s.n occasion with her fancy dance steps. There’s a successful career waiting for her as a secretary. “Sophistication and charm are seldom found together; and we have found the exception.” Major Edwards High School. A phenomenal forward, Myrna is outstanding on the hardwood floor, where she has chalked up many points.

Basketball 1; Field Hockey 1; Chorus 1, 3. “Pat” is a bright, sunny person, who is easy to know. One of her hobbies is sewing, at which she excells. She is one of our lucky graduates — she plans to be married in June and go to Germany with her husband. “Sunny people make cloudy days seem short.” Holden High School. A little Chinese and a mood a day are her doctrine. “Chop” makes the worst things seem the funniest; and wherever she goes, warm, friendly laughter echoes after her. She is always cheerfully ready to answer the call of duty and never shirks responsibilities. Not a better friend could one find anywhere. “Garg” is a sports fan and a loyal supporter of his school. He looks to the Air Force for his immediate future. “In her twas natural to please.” Holden High School. Senior Dance Committee 4. Ask her anything and this Princeton lass will accommodate you. “Janie’s” shy but mischievous ways have made her nice to remember, too nice to forget. “A smile for all, a welcome glad, A jovial, coaxing way he had.” Major Edwards High School. Junior Prom Committee 3; Junior Play Committee 3. A devilish twinkle in his eye, a broad, friendly grin, and a happy-go-lucky disposition — that ' s our friend George. His favorite pastime is arguing, and he can always find some very convincing points. George plans to join the Navy, where he’s sure to make many friends. “Her red ha ir is but a crown of glory.” Holden High School. She plans to go into nurses’ training.
