Friends At Their BEST Well, here's the other half of school life, friends. Sometimes they make the world go around. They see us at our worst and our best. They help us get through times when we think the world will end. Friends defend us in times of crisis and help lift us up when we're down. Friends do those little things that mean a lot. They’re great to have, and we couldn’t live without them. Pictured. Top: The Three Stooges. Paul Honetschlager. Mark Fischer, and Joe Thull Middle left: Dona Baune, Becky Kern, and Kevin Kramer kid around in the hall between classes. Middle right: Jolene Bernardy and Shelia Grossman have finally gotten dressed up. Bottom left: Pam Boyum and Marie Bernardy cuddle up to each other. Bottom right: Kent Kletscher and Trevor Brau give us their football pose. 4

Hit the Books This page is dedicated to all those students who go to school, and work hard. Although many stu- dents like to think that school is a time to be with their friends, it’s also a time to get down to business and learn something. There are a variety of subjects to choose from, rangeing from biology to basic busi- ness, allgebra to farming. Students are rewarded for their efforts by getting on the honor roll at the end of a quarter. But, school isn't all books, and if you turn to the next page you’ll see what else school is about. Pictured Top: Mr Berg explains the finer parts of the mouse to some tenth grade girls, during biology class. Middle left: Terry Jenniges cuts the pie while Scott Martin, Joe Kemp, and Scott Fennern wait in anticipation. Middle right: Dave Irlbeck prepares to prick his finger as Todd Andersen blows his blood out of a blood diluting pipet Greg Zick looks up from his work. Boltom middle: Kevin Kramer reads his book for a class he's taking called “Reading for Enjoyment . Bottom right: Don Schilling looks up from his homework 3
