Not Us There goes someone with rollers in their hair! What's going on here? It’s Spirit Week at Wabasso High School. Monday was “Come As You Are Day , and the students did just that, dressing in robes and wearing rollers in their hair. Tuesday was Vacation Day , and lots of shorts were seen. Wednesday was Senoir Citizen Day”, so you had to be careful in the halls for fear of running down some elderly lady or man. “Formal Day” was held on Thursday, and everyone wore their best clothes. Last, was the traditional Gold and Maroon Day” on Friday. Also on this last day of the week was the Powder Puff Football Game, which was held in late afternoon and at it’s conclusion, declared the Junior-Freshman team the winners. 17

18 'he Chosen A New Queen The air hums with excitement, as a drum roll sounds across the gym. It’s time to crown the 1986-87 Homecoming King and Queen. The 1987 queen becomes Stacy Wahl and the 1987 king becomes Kevin Baune. As they take their reigning walk the WHS Concert Band plays Seperate Lives' . They return to the stage and take their places at the throne. Another coronation has come and gone.
