BABBIT ROYALTY With sweaty hands, nervous faces, and shaky knees, the 10 king and queen candi- dates marched into the elegantly decorated gym eliciting cheers from the crowd as ev- eryone awaited for that special moment of the coronation ceremonies. Coronation took place October 6th. Jill Fischer and Mike Trost were the M.C.'s for the evening, and Mr. Ledermann gave the homecoming address. The band provided the back- ground music for the coronation march, and presented a few of their own selections. The choir also sang a song dedicated to the coronation ceremony. The 1983-1984 King and Queen, Kevin Guetter and Sarah Gob- lirsch, took their last reigning walk pre- ceeding the crowning of the 1984-85 King and Queen, Joel Dudgeon and Val Wagner. 1.
