School COMMENCEMENT 1984 Wabasso, Minnesota CLASS OF 1984 Class Flower Class Color Class Motto Class Song Rose Burgandy and Silver Fear Not the Dream That Might Ask Too Much, But the Dream That Might Ask Too Little “It’s Not the Sunset But the Dawn’’ CLASS OFFICERS Sarah Goblirsch Paul Kratzhe Wendy Radel Luonna Van Meveren Sandy Thull Dan Fischer Class Advisors: Mary Kay Schweim and Don Wahl Honor Guards: Dawn Otto and Brian Rothmeier President Vice-President Secretary Treasurer Student Council BOARD OF EDUCATION Rachel Andersen Werner Fischer Alice Thull Gordon Alexander Lester Dallmann Patrick LeGare Gar: Schmidt President Vice-President Clerk Treasurer Director Director Director Graduation commencement exercises for the class of 1984 were held on May 25th, 1984, in the high school auditorium. The evening started with Rev. Ervin Doh- meier giving the invocation, followed by the welcome given by Sarah Goblirsch, class president. Luonna VanMeveren, the highest honor student then explained the class motto. Mr. Wistrom then di- rected the class song. After the class song was performed awards and scholarships were presented. Terri Fischer won the L.M. Fuhr award, Luonna VanMeveren and Kelly Berg received the Legion awards. Kathy Miller was presented with the Cantine scholarship. Paul Kratzke and Luonna VanMeveren won the Mahal scholarships, and Terri Fischer and Paul Kratzke received the Student Council scholarships. Following the awards, Dave Andersen, the second highest hon- or student, gave the farewell address. Luonna VanMeveren then presented the class gift to Mr. Ledermann. This gift will be used to purchase an outdoor bul- letin board. Diplomas were then handed out to the students. This year's com- mencement was a huge success since the weather cooperated and there was a large attendance. We will always remember the class of 1984. Good luck to them all in the future!! 1.
