homecoming Bouquet of Roses Our football team sallied forth under the slogan We Love You, Rabbits to crush the Mor- ton Indians. And the inarching band survived a shivering wind to present a halftime show titled A Grid Iron Portrait . The Country Velvets entertained the many dancers in the gym after the royalty marched down the yellow brick road. The next day every- one was tired; but happy! Weeks before the day of homecoming, every class was busy making many plans for the big day. The school was buzzing with activity late into the nights. And then the big day came. The faculty and the theater class each presented the students with a skit, and the band played a selection. The drum roll raised the already high excitement level to a peak Adrenalin rushed through the blood of the royalty candidates as Queen Deanzie and King Randy were crowned.

DRAMA The Show Must Go On Stop eating the chicken, I can't pay for it. .. .'Ttors. Molloy, help there’s a man! ... Kiss a girl Cornelius, you don't know any girls. These are only a few of the many lines that brought laughter from the audience as the WHS drama department presented The Match- maker Thornton Wilder's non rauscial version of Hello Dolly, on November 8th and 9th. The Matchmaker is Wilder's delightful farce about having wonderful days, spending money and being foolish. But most of all its about adventure. Like Bamaby says, ... we hope that in your lives you have just the right amount of sitting quietly at home, and just the right amount of adventure. ABOVE: Row 1: K. Franta, J. Gladitsch, J.
