HOMECOMING Coronation Highlights Activities After a week of preparation, the day of coronation arrived on Friday, Sept- ember 29th. Lynette Strand and Steve Mathiowetz were crowned queen and king by the reigning royalty of 1971-72. After the coronation the cheerleaders provided entertainment in the form of skits and cheers. They were followed by our parade through the streets of Wabasso. BELOW TOP LEFT: Jr. Class boys pre- pared to get in their harnesses and pull the class float. BOTTOM LEFT: Half-time performances by the Band while Homecoming attendents rode by and were introduced. BELOW RIGHT: Homecoming Queen Lynette Strand and King Steve Mathiowetz.

Spirit Is Always Up The spirit was up through out the week of homecoming; however the Rabbits lost to Gaylord, the Toma- hawk champions. Students, faculty, and alumni alike gathered after the game for a dance, with music provid- ed by The Harmony Knights. RIGHT: Senior float entry driven by C. Hoffman, with J. Woelfel and C.
