ANNUAL STAFF The Staff was organized on an en- tirely different basis this year. For the first time both Juniors and Seniors were on the staff. Members were divided into committees to work on one section only. A man- ager for each committee was also selected. The Annual Staff had a very busy year. On October 15th an Annual Supper was held. The proceeds were used for producing a bigger annual. Two movies, The Great Man and Pajama Game were also sponsored by the staff with the cooperation of the local theatre owner. A lot of improvement was made in the paper this year. Justified margins were incorporated, a bigger paper was produced, and the paper came out twice a month. A new mimioscope and mimeograph were purchased. These machines helped make a big improve- ment in the neatness of the paper. My goodness, don't they look busy. Standing left to right, are S. Here is a picture of the pallbearers and our mourners shortly after the procession into the gymnasium. After the obituary was read by Calverna Arends, the spirit of Wa- basso High was lowered into its final resting place. The new school spirit which took its place was much more satisfactory to everyone con- cerned . 24
