ANNUAL STAFF The Staff was organized on an en- tirely different basis this year. For the first time both Juniors and Seniors were on the staff. Members were divided into committees to work on one section only. A man- ager for each committee was also selected. The Annual Staff had a very busy year. On October 15th an Annual Supper was held. The proceeds were used for producing a bigger annual. Two movies, The Great Man and Pajama Game were also sponsored by the staff with the cooperation of the local theatre owner. Mrs. Hanscom was the advisor The editors, managers, and secretary of the annual staff. Back row, standing, are S. Larsen; junior ed- itor; L. Wille, business manager; M. A lot of improvement was made in the paper this year. Justified margins were incorporated, a bigger paper was produced, and the paper came out twice a month. A new mimioscope and mimeograph were purchased. These machines helped make a big improve- ment in the neatness of the paper. My goodness, don't they look busy. Standing left to right, are S. Here is a picture of the pallbearers and our mourners shortly after the procession into the gymnasium. After the obituary was read by Calverna Arends, the spirit of Wa- basso High was lowered into its final resting place. The new school spirit which took its place was much more satisfactory to everyone con- cerned . 24
