(RIGHT): K. Graner scolds B. Dose as L. Fosmo tries to control him. The Man Who Came to Dinner The fall play this year was considered by some people, better than Hello Dolly .. . The story concerned a wealthy celebrity, Sheridan Whiteside (Brian Dose) who with his secretary Maggie Cutlei (Julie Raimer) visited the home of Mr. and Mrs. Stanley (Ken Graner, Linda Fosmo). The trouble began when Whiteside, fell on the sidewalk of his host's home and was forced to remain in the small town longer than anticipated. The troubles that arose were numerous and comical. The love affair between Maggie and Bert (Dean Plank) was dangerously threatened. The Stanley's children were planning to leave home and furthermore, a jar of calf's foot jelly was broken! ! ?! There were dozens of other incidents that took place. Maybe we could discuss them over dinner. (ABOVE): K. Gustafson and M. Abbott rehearse for WHS's fall play. (RIGHT): S. Passe explains his cockroaches to B. Dose as J. Raimer watches in disgust.

V One Act Samual Beckett's ACTS I AND II WITHOUT WORDS is a play that will long be remembered by many people. This play had a deep meaning about the futility and repetition of life. The cast made history for WHS by making it all the way to State competition. Brian Dose was awarded best actor in the District Competition, and each member of the cast was complimented on his grace and physical control. We congratulate the cast for their accomplishment and for proving a lot can be said without wor . (ABOVE): Mr. Meisch holds the plaque which was presented to him from the cast and crew.
