WINTER CARNIVAL Winter Carnival candidates. L TO R. M. Gustafson, D. Vogt, S. Kasper, B. Wolf, G. Grigg, A. Greenheck, K. Stamschror and B. Calvey. In the middle of winter, In the cold and the snow, The Winter Carnival Was the place to go. One day was Grub Day, The next, we dressed neat. One day we wore scarves on our head And boots on our feet. We held a contest In the snow And to the best sculpture. Money would go. We had an exciting basketball game. The students won. But the teachers were good sports, Just the same. But the big event, The big surprise, Was the Carnival Dance Which caused gaping mouths And wide opened eyes. And at that dance Was a wonderful thing, Julie and Jim Our Snow Queen and Snow King— Teacher's team for the basketball game. Cheered on by the Faculty. Better luck next time! 13 S. Perry, L. Hartert, M. Noll and K. Steuernagel representing the Freshman entry in snow sculpture.

PROM 73 This year, prom was held in Rochester at the Holiday Inn South. The atmosphere was very pleasant as couples danced to the music of Flying Free, the band. The theme song was Stairway to Heaven and during a faster dance, Mr. Loretz, Mr. Meisch and Dr. Timm were seen on the dance floor in the middle of a snake dance. Mrs. Carr and other teachers also joined in. The highlight of the evening was the crowning of the Prom King and Queen who turned out to be Beth Scheel and Richard Slick Carrels. Now aren't you glad you came, Diane? D. Vogt, B. Popp, R. Coates, and Randy Stroot; Jan Smith. TOP: Master and Mistress of Ceremonies, Rhonda Graner and Rich Stroot read the Last Will and Testaments.
