And The Band Plays On Under the direction of G. P. Huntoon, the Wabasha High School Band entertained many eventful moments during the year. None of the students will ever forget the night they were stranded at Mazeppa! The band added to the spirit and excitement at football and basketball games. C horns' What would you do if we sang out of tune? This was the chant of many chorus students this year. However, the outcome of the spring contest in St. Charles proved this statement untrue. A superior rating was received for the two numbers performed by the chorus. The glee club, composed of freshmen and sophomore girls, also worked hard this year. The efforts they showed were worthwhile as were seen in the performance they gave at the spring concert.
