“ Bridge Over Troubled Water” With the onset of spring weather, the young men's minds turned to fancy and the young girl's minds turned to the young men! Thus we ended up with our annual Junior-Senior Prom. In a beautiful setting of Bridge Over Troubled Water, our 1970 prom king and queen were crowned. Debbie Stroot and Mike Hoffman reigned jubilantly over a marvelous night of dancing. The juniors worked hard to make this prom exciting and fun for everyone. The Seniors wish to thank the Juniors for making this year's prom one to remember forever. The envelope please . . . 22

Spring Fever Strikes Again Spring has arrived! Once again this year, students had to sit in their desks and melt while the sun streamed through the windows. Students of any size, shape, and color could be seen at any time of the school day gazing dreamily out side while the warm weather persisted. However, we did have our share of bleakness and stormy weather. Sometimes, many times in fact, the weather matched the varied moods of the students of WHS. UPPER RIGHT AND ABOVE: Tragic memories of 1970 show the remains that the fire left us. Each WHS student resigned himself to accept the burnt hallways for the remainder of the school year.
