i ache to love and be loved by you In a world that is sometimes cruel. And always lonely. i need someone to complete my oneness to make me try to balance my successes And my failures. 1am one in search of another one. You. And if i leave this campus with only a college degree i will have gained nothing if you are not a part of me for the most in life can only be mine if i have you And our strengths are one in the world that is our campus.

There are times when i go away from the swinging doors and the flights of stairs the crowded halls and the conference rooms to free the voices in my mind to contemplate the meditations of my soul. Once more the struggle is ended and i am at peace when i can lay down my troubles and see them for what they are instead of what i had feared them to be. A place of solace where i can laugh and cry-- at the same time if i want-- for i need not disguise my make-up or explain myself to me. This life of mine has never known unquestionable certainty. Or lasting identity. A new tomorrow is always born. And i, too, begin. Again. Sometimes, when i look at myself i find i am alone with only my soul to guide me as i drift in some unknown direction in search of the best way the greatest degree of understanding the fullest life. It is the superlative degree of goodness that challenges me now and i cannot compromise on the urgencies of my spirit. For whether i negotiate the sum of my existence in base ten or base two iam but one and the world is my campus. ee een ———
