And then he was alone, alone with many other young men, all alone. Classes began and so did the Chapels on Mondays and Thursdays. There were blue books and papers and more blue books. There were pots: pots with a cherry, pots without a cherry, torn up pots and weird smelling pots. There were sophomores. There were his pledge brothers. And there were actives. There was football and there was cross country. The weeks went slowly. And the weekends went fast. Because on the weekends there were girls, or at 4 gm.
