The banner team and varsity cheerleaders are up and down. Homecoming Despite the early morning time and the absence of Mr. Blackmon the Spartans showed their spirit at the Homecoming pep assembly. New and old Spartans alike attended the 7:40 a.m. assembly. Renee Manes thought, They should have had it during the day because more people would have been there. Because of the closeness of Halloween, the Starlets dressed up in costumes and performed a routine to Ghostbusters The cheerleaders and banner team 22 Life The varsity football team splashes out on the field at the Skyline game. brings changes decorated the auditorium with posters, banners, and blue and gold streamers to add to the spirit. The spirit paid off as the Spartans took a rain soaked 7- 0 Homecoming victory over the Skyline Raiders. After the assembly the halls and classrooms were filled with bells and bows. The traditional mums could be seen everywhere. The spirit con- tinued all day because the Blue Jackets had the halls decorated with tags, streamers, balloons, and most of all, spirit. The varsity cheerleaders end their routine with W.W.S.
