Pleasant days and nights Pleasant days were spent at Samuell High School. The Spar- tans used their eight-thirty to four o'cIock days to do research papers, spend time with friends, complain about Iunchroom food, and rush from class to class. Shelly Reed com- mented School is not only a place ,where we study 'but a place to have fun as well. The nights were spent going to football and basketball games or cruising the streets of Pleasant Grove. Many of the Spartans that cruised Galloway, Sentinel photographer, Kelly Walker, takes a lesson from TORCH photographer Terry Brence at the Roosevelt game. 10 Beginnings l . ll fir in nearby Mesquite, came back :fi to cruise Buckner. Jill Tucker U54 X thought that one reason for the H x switch was that Everyone got tired of being harassed by the Mesquite police. on Buckner, when those who cruised got hungry, there were many places such as Wendy's, Taco Bell, and Arby's to visit.
