Deaf Winter Carnival Dance A dance sponsored by the Samuell Deaf Education Department was held November 3, from 7:30 to 11:00. It was reported that a little over one hundred were in attendance. Neall Raney, a student at Samuell, did a mime routine to two songs - In the Navy, assisted by the Deaf Cheerleaders in the background, and YMCA, assisted by the football players. Connie Smith sang and also visually interpreted the lyrics to Go Ye. The Deaf King and Queen were announced during the course of the festivities. Steve Wanderscheid was crowned King and Marsha Smith as Queen. Steve Darr and Mary Ann Hawkins boogie to the beat. f fi .. ag e ..
