7 W. Tresper Clarke High School Westbury, New York Dear Classmates, Scope ’87 represents a colla- borative effort. It was the inten- tion of the staff to provide for you a testimony of your presence at Clarke; its major focus is on your senior year. It was a pleasure to lead this joint effort and to offer you what we considered to be our best work. Very often a yearbook takes on more significance in the future as it serves to jar memory. As such, a yearbook is an historical docu- ment. We hope that Scope ’87 will be useful for this purpose as well.
