We only have three more to go! Even the floats carried out the theme of the Nation’s Bicentennial. Only a few students participated in the building of the floats. The junior’s set a new precedent by donating their money to the children’s Hospital. One float represented the church Paul Revere made famous. Many meetings were only attended by a few. The seniors float symbolized the birth of our Nation. It won first place following Wood¬ son’s tradition. One disap¬ pointing fact which occurred was that the floats arrived on the day of no school. Did you know George Washington threw a frisbee across the Potomac 1 ? The Frisbee team thinks so! Ben Franklin discovered electricity and the Science club discovered spirit.
