German Club The German Club is an informal association of Woodson’s students of German. They attend cultural events such as Oktoberfest and Fasching parties. If you do in¬ vestigate the Latin Club. Dedicated to the Roman living style, the Latin Club holds slave auctions and celebrates Roman festivals. This year their Christmas party (Satur¬ nalia) was held late because of weather complications. The Latin Club banquet was held in the Spring, it included a slave auction—female slaves were auctioned off—and all the traditional garb with laurel crowns and flowing robes. ORGANIZATIONS 135
